Emergency! 3d Rendering to Black and White. Need Help ASAP!

I'm sorry as most likely this has already been covered but i did a search and came up with nothing and ther's nothing in the 3d rendering FAQ tab above.

 

Any ways, I'm using CAD2010 and have all my materials placed, sun and sky set up and view created. However when I go to render, the image produced is only black and white and without detail. I'm sure it has something to do with a setting that has changed but I've been trying for hours and can't figure it out. Any advice would help.

It sounds like a light issue. What kind of a scene are you working with? one object or a room?
