Carlson closed my ribbons

I'm trying this software named Carlson, that adds surveying functionality using AutoCAD as the core CAD environment. Thing is that it terminated the Ribbon and reverted to the classic style CAD menus.

Thing is that even if i launch Autocad shortcut (not the ones carlson for Autocad) I still get the same interface.

I also tried the Ribbon command and it doesnt display anything.

What is the solution here?

The first screen is after i activate the "RIBBON" command, and the next is what it looks like after i install carlson.

I just want to restore it to its original condition.

Where might that be located?

I tried the "cuiload" command but i could only find the acad.cuix file on the support folder which only seemd to load the parametrics command toolbar.

EDIT:I tried to reset the original acad.cuix but i still get no tabs on the ribbon. Maybe the installation purposely corrupts the ribbon tabs?

Does anyone have the untethered acad.cuix file for 2010?

A) To the best of my knowledge, Carlson does not make use of the Ribbon. But it does not touch the stock AutoCAD menu, it just loads its own menu.

B) Acad.cuix is the stock OOTB menu name (not Acad.cui) Use the MENU command to load it, not CUILOAD.

C) Again, Carlson isn't corrupting the stock menu, but if you want to replace the one you have with the stock OOTB version, look in C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2010\UserDataCache\Support - a virgin copy is stored there. If for some reason that is missing, then just get it out of your deployment or off your original install media.

Yep you're right, i needed to use the menu command. The cui command only loaded acad.cuix as a partial and retained the carlson cuix as the main customization file.

Your way worked, i actually needed to change the main cuix and your method described that so thanx a lot! :)
