Gibbo-21 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Hey everyone, really need help with a PT problem I'm having with AutoCAD 2010. I've set up my polar tracking angles at 0, 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270, and 315 degrees. In top and bottom view it works fine and allows me to align the line on any angle, but in any other view it will only allow me to place a line at 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees (only along the x axis). Any help would be very grateful, Thanx! Quote
Brands Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 In your drafting settings, go to the 'Polar Tracking'-tab. Look on the right for 'Object Snap Tracking Settings' and select 'Track using all polar angle settings'. That should help. Quote

Right click over POLAR at the bottom of the screen and pick the 45. I am guessing that the other view is set to Ortho on, toggle Polar on. Quote
Gibbo-21 Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 Nah, none of those helped still have the same problem. Thanx for your replies though. Quote
rkent Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Maybe in the viewport you are having problems with the UCS needs adjusting. First make sure the UCS us showing, UCSICON, all, on. Now in that viewport use the UCS, World option. You may need to use the PLAN, World option also. Quote
Gibbo-21 Posted November 25, 2009 Author Posted November 25, 2009 Tried it rkent but still nothing. Thanx again for your reply. Quote
rkent Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Time to post the drawing, make a copy, erase any objects, save, verify the problem still exists, post drawing here. Quote
