alijahed Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Hi All, confused! In Help of AutoCAD 2010(Profiles Tab (Options Dialog Box)it says: "A profile is a configuration you define." Question is, The Profile store in *.arg file type but the configuration file store in *.cfg type! What's the difference between them? Cheers Ali Quote
NBC Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 To get a true picture of the difference between them, try opening one of each (with a program similar to Notepad) - things should become much clearer after doing that. Quote

Thanks for your reply, The ARG make sense but I didn't get anything about CFG file! Cheers Quote
ReMark Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 As I understand it the acad.cfg is the configuration file created when AutoCAD is set up to use any peripheral devices such as a digitizer. Quote
