Hi,

I want to create two or more sections or subdivisions of an original area automatically. Either by number of subdivisions or area.

So far I can get the area by using the boundary and area command, copy the angle of the boundary line selected, by using an xline and move it at a given distance with a loop.

How can I get this to stop at the needed area?

Basically starting with a trapezoid - the xline, (a copy of a boundary line selected), will shift until it creates the area wanted. Then another boundary line created to take its place with the xline deleted.

Please help.

Hi Stu, I'm sure I've seen an area subdivision request before. Have you done a thorough search?

I tried something like that here:

But its temperamental to say the least.... :geek:
