I can't delete lines using the delete button!!

Not sure how this happened but I was trying to rotate a drawing in a viewport using mvsetup which worked, but now I am unable to delete lines etc using the delete and backspace key!!!!

 

Not sure why it has suddenly started doing this. The delete and backspace keys work in other software programmes so it seems like it's just in Autocad!

 

I can delete using the Delete icon in the toolbar but that's a pain as I use both hands to operate Autocad.

 

 

Anyone got any suggestions of how I can get it back to normal

Try changing PICKFIRST to 1

That worked. It's a bit weird why it set itself to 0 variable even though I didn't touch it.

Maybe you used a lisp routine that did not clean up after itself by resetting variables it had changed.

It was definitely the PICKFIRST variable.

I know that MVSetup changes OSNAP settings for me, perhaps it changes other things, and if you exit out of the command in "wrong" way, stuff don't reset...anyway, glad it's sorted

there's always the ERASE command.... no?
