RFurball Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I have a model I need to demension. The hidden lines are too busy so I need to remove some of them. My steps to accomplish this were: 1) I used SOLVIEW to create a side view 2) I used DVIEW and CLIP to show the lines I want 3) I then used SOLDRAW to create the flat drawing. The SOLDRAW command did not work as I expected. In some views the hidden lines that CLIP took out appeared. Other views there was no output at all. Any ideas what I did wrong or what commands I need to do to accomplish my task? For now I will have to manually delete the hidden lines I do not want. Quote
ReMark Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Do you really want a side view or would a section be better suited? Quote
RFurball Posted December 14, 2009 Author Posted December 14, 2009 I need top view and 4 side views. Each side has details I need to dimension (holes). I probably need a section view too but I probably can just dimension the hidden lines. Quote
