Change ISOLINES to 1? Maybe 0? Turn off tangent lines?

You can try two things...

Type VSEdges in the command line and set it to 1, this removes the lines in your visual style.

and/or...

In Autocad 2009....

Go to View > Visual Styles > visual styles manager

In the "Visual Styles Manager" dialog box, select your style, then scroll down to edge settings. Change Edge Mode to none.

Hope this helps.

If the above doesn't work you might want to then take a look at the system variable VSISOONTOP.

"Displays isolines on top of shaded objects in the visual style applied to the current viewport."

0 = Off.

1 = On.
