NKG Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Hi all, I searched the website to buy a new ACAD2010 and found some vendors offering it for very very low price: “100% fully working retail versions - no demos or academic versions. You don't have to pay that much for the fancy box and manuals...” it’s an OEM license. Is this legal? Will I get a regular activation process once I will parches\download the software? Will you lease give me an advice, Thanks! Quote
Cad64 Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Autocad 2010 is a $4,000 program. Do you really think the fancy box and manuals are what's driving the price up? Autocad can only be purchased legally from Autodesk or an authorized Autodesk reseller. Quote
OSCGOLF Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Our office has automatic upgrades and each year we get new software installed on our computers. FYI... there are no fancy manuals this year. Thanks God... they are WORTHLESS! But the fancy boxes come in handy for other things... I keep golf tees in one of them, when I need to make a break on an emergency field trip :-) Quote
mrbucket Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 You can lease Autocad through a local dealer, much cheaper and you immediately get upgraded when a new version is released. Quote
