LadyCAD Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Hiya, Ive been an AutoCAD user since 88' and I am completely frustrated over this problem. I will turn off layers to an xref, save the drawing, come back into it and all my layers will be back on. Is there a command I am missing here? If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated! J-LYLE Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 You could save you layer settings to a layer state in layer manager, then if they do come on or off or what ever you just load the layer state again and they will all go back to how you saved that layer state. Quote
vaboatwr Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Go to tools, options, open & save, and click on the box that says retain changes to xref layers, then click OK. This will solve your problem. Must be done on any file that contains xrefs. Quote
