Reid Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I remember when working with ACAD 2005 having floating longish toolbars, the classic style. Classic style is still available in 2010 but the floating toobars are nowhere to be seen be it within the 3d or 2d updated work-spaces. Is it possible to customize the 3d workspace to have access to these old style panels? Quote
ReMark Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 You don't have to customize 2010 just to get your favorite Toolbars back. I just answered this question for Tiger recently. I'll see if I can find the thread. Quote
ReMark Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 At the far right end of the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) there is an arrow. Click on it. Click on the option Show Menu Bar. Now click on Tools > Toolbars > AutoCAD and make your selection. Does that do it for you? Should you dislike the presence of the menu bar you can return to the QAT and hide it. Any additional toolbars you require can be accessed in the normal fashion by right-clicking on an existing toolbar. Quote
Reid Posted December 29, 2009 Author Posted December 29, 2009 Thank you Remark. I spent a couple hours looking for it without much effect. Quote
ReMark Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 You're entirely welcomed. I'm not sure what AutoDesk was thinking when they removed the option from the QAT to directly access toolbars in 2010. Quote
