taiwanchu
Anyone who has experienced this, please let us know how you resolved it. This is what is happening: someone in our office will be working on a drawing that has a file Xref'ed into it (say GRID.dwg) and doesn't open that drawing, doesn't refedit it, doesn't do anything to it. Randomly, the drawing will somehow be opened by that individual and saved but corrupted at the same time. We know it's saved by that individual since the owner of the file is their user name. This happens on a few of our computers (3 out of 12) typically. It will even say "user has updated the file, click to reload" in the bottom corner of the screen with your user name even though you were working away in a drawing. Let us know if this is something you have gone through and what you have done to remedy it. Any help would be great. PS: we have also cleaned out every file of registered applications, run purges, audits and the whole cleaning. So they are clean from as much junk as we could get them. Kat
We had some problems with corrupt files some time back. It ended up being a lack of memory on the network drive that we were using. We got the IT department to alot more space and upgraded the computers and everything worked just fine. Granted, we had to do a little recovering on some files. I hope this might help...
