Arizona Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I have one user that when he plots, all text plots like RomanS. Example: Cover Sheet has RomanT, RomanC, RomanD and RomanS (no TTFs, all SHX), but the plot comes out with all text as single line (RomanS). Plot preview looks correct, but final product does not. Any Cluse as to what is causing this? Thanks, Jeff Quote
nukecad Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Without more details I would suspect the printer driver cannot recognise the fonts. Check what driver he is using and check on line for the latest driver. Quote
ReMark Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 When did the problem first occur? Was the user able to plot the drawing without this problem in the past? Quote
Arizona Posted January 8, 2010 Author Posted January 8, 2010 It just started yesterday. We are all using the same drivers on the server but it is only happening to One Guy. He sent a plot to an 11x17 lazer and it printed properly, so it does point to the driver, but like I said, we're all using the same driver files, and if I plot it from my machine it prints fine. It's like he has a squed setvar somewhere........ This is a good one. ACAD version 2006 w/ LDT Plotter is an OCE 700 Quote
Arizona Posted January 8, 2010 Author Posted January 8, 2010 Solved. Checked font path in LDT - good Checked font path in Map - MISSING! (gotta love users...) Reloaded path in MAP, closed all ACADs, restarted Map, plots correctly. Restarted LDT, plots correctly. Apparently, Map and LDT are tied together for some things and not for others. Anyway - it's fixed. Thanks Guys. Jeff Quote
ReMark Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 It started yesterday? So what changed? Ah, the font path in Map changed (missing). Glad to hear it's all taken care of and thanks for posting back. Quote
