CadiCad Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Hey guys I have 2007 LT. When I go open a drawing sent from a customer the first commend line shows Substituting [simplex.shx] for [Aharoni]. Now the dimension texts show a "?" where a dimension should be so Im assuming there maybe some characters in Aharoni that simplex does not have therefor creating a question mark. However, Aharoni is a standard text style so Im assuming I lost it at one point. My question to you is. Is there anyone that can simply go into there Font folder in there AutoCad explorer and add it as an attachment so I can copy and paste it. I had a similar problem awhile back and this solved the issue so Im almost positive this is it. Thanks CadiCad Quote

Thanks CadiCad did you search locally on your computer for it first? if you find it just make sure it is in the file support directory for fonts in your options in autocad. Quote
CadiCad Posted January 14, 2010 Author Posted January 14, 2010 Thanks for the immediate reply, did you search locally on your computer for it first? I did search my computer could not locate the file. if you find it just make sure it is in the file support directory for fonts in your options in autocad. Thats where I looked. and its not there! Tools - Options - Files - Support File Search Path Also the strange thing is when I create a ML text the font style shows there but its not under the supporting file search path. Which is where it needs to be. Quote

I searched through his computer for the file and finally found it it was somewhere through the program files of adobe and I just copied it over to my support path. make sure you allow to search through hidden folders? Other than that google search for the font type I guess and you know what to do from there. Quote

I wouldn't have created this thread without doing everything I possible could beforehand. I dont know what to do thats why I am here. Im looking for someone with autocad to simply add the file as an attachment. Quote
CadiCad Posted January 14, 2010 Author Posted January 14, 2010 Is anyone willing to share this font? Or atleast check to see if they have it. CadiCad Quote
ReMark Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I'd share it if I had it but I don't. For that matter I do not even recognize the font name. Is the drawing from an outside source? A client or another firm you're working with? I check StYkFacE's 762 fonts repository and it wasn't even on the list. If he doesn't have it I don't know who would! Quote
