Gothic Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I've been facing a problem with Architectural Desktop 2009. Customize and all the workspace settings are missing and can't loaded ribbons. It happens like that often. I ever did reinstall it when i was facing like that problem. But I like to know that How can I get it without reinstall or repair.... I caught the screenshot of it's problem... Quote
ReMark Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Find and load the ACA.cui. Have you tried the CUILOAD command? Quote
Tiger Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 A guess here, it's probably suppose to the ACAD.cui.... go to Options (right-click at the commandline) > Files tab and go to the Customization File > main Customization File and see if you can change the path there if it helps. Quote
ReMark Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Maybe its because I'm blind in one eye but doesn't the error message look like it references ACA.cui? Quote
ReMark Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted by Murph at the AutoDesk Discussion Forums: "ACA.cui = AutoCad Architectural CUI. Each vertical product has it's own cui that is different than the ACAD cui as it's main cui. Improper installs, corrupt users profiles, adding 3rd party apps, improper editing of the cui/workspace or a number of other factors can cause what the OP is seeing." Quote
Tiger Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Maybe its because I'm blind in one eye but doesn't the error message look like it references ACA.cui? Like I said, it was a guess - a misspelling in the file-path would explain that autocad can't find the file. If that is not the case, then ignore my guess. Quote
ReMark Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 More info re: AutoCAD Architecture and the graphical user interface. A reference to aca.cui can be found in the Conclusion section (2nd paragraph). http://www.archidigm.com/lounge/architectural_desktop/general_tips/aca_2010_gui.htm Quote
