MisterJingles Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Hi guys I dont know if this can be done easily. Im working on a drawing where Ive had to show sleeve/ducting routes. This is how I represent them. These sleeves can follow winding routes and it becomes difficult to keep the diagonal lines all at the same angle and looking uniform. Is there any way I can create a polyline (or a linetype?) which looks like the object in the picture? That way I can lay it like a regular line and it would stay evenly spaced and uniform. ReMark Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I know that someone, within the last three months, created a linetype that is basically a series of repeating slashes (minus any continuous bounding line on either side) for use in denoting objects to be removed or demolished in a building renovation. Maybe that could be the jumping off point for developing the linetype you're looking for. At the moment I cannot recall the title of the thread. I'll have to poke around and see if I can locate it. ReMark Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I found the thread. Look at the second page. I think the custom linetype substituted an "X" for a "/" but I'm sure that could be changed. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=40768&highlight=linetype Quote
