Dimension fill color off

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using 2010 and my dimensions text is creating a background mask, I have tried selecting 'none', I have tried 'TEXTFILL' and DIMTFILL- but nothing seems to work.

Can't find anything else on any other forums that describe this problem.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

TEXTFILL here not and,

DIMTFILL-> 1, should help, but only for again created

As look at the dimension at property panels, in section the Text, colour of filling. What there?

Or show a file where a problem

Dimtfillclr doesn't work

textfill dosen't work

dimtfill doesn't work

What else do you have?

Dorian Gray , Well, show us the file where at you a problem and then we can precisely tell (probably even I will show) what and how it is necessary to make.

so no response means you can't fix the problem?

It works fine here, I use background or none for color and it goes away.

What color do you use for your screen background? I use black and don't see a problem. I switched to white and had to force a regen, no longer showing there as well.

I just opened the Dimension Style Manager, set the Fill color to None and problem solved. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you though.

Im having the same problem. I have a Dim style that has the Background fill colour. I've gone in the style manager to change it to none, but each time I close/re-open the drawing it comes back!! I could simply create a new style and change all of the dims, but I want to find out why this is happening. If one of your knows the answer that would be great.
