Dyna
We just got a new plotter and now our AutoCad Lt drawings are all printing with the same line thickness. Anyone help out?
kellenhaskell
open your drawing file. click: File > Plot Style Manager, a microsoft window should pop up with a list of files that are named with a ".ctb" extension. Find the one thats named "acad.ctb" and double click it. make sure its NOT the .stb. When you double click it it will bring up a window and you want to click the "Form View" tab. You will notice a list of all 256 colors. They give you a bunch of options on printing setups. What you will want to do is select each color and click the drop down window with lineweights on it. Setup the thickness's you would like to the colors you like, Just make sure that in your drawing that the layers that you want that lineweight on match to the same color you just edited. I was tought to only use the 7 basic colors unless otherwise neccasary, just too much confusion. Also if your having problems with all your colors printing in color and you want black and white than you'll have to change the "Color:...." under the properties of each color. If that makes sense. Hope this helped, Let me know if ya have more questions

kellenhaskell
Also in your Layout tab you will want to make sure that in Page Setup Manager (right click layout tab at bottom) that your Plot style table (pen assignements) is set to the acad.ctb file.
