eldon Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Try the ISO??? family of fonts, and type Alt + 0174 Quote
ReMark Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Times New Roman has a gorgeous one I use all the time. Multiline Text > Symbol then select the font. Quote
chulse Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 ISOCP.shx has it. I wish there was a romans font with it, but I guess not. Mark - I was looking for a shx font that had it - so I don't have mixed fonts in my notes. thanks Quote
eldon Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Well, it is a bit of a plaver, but the tools are all there. First, make a SHP file with Express Tools DUMPSHX from the file ISOCP.SHX. Then you can look in the file for the shape definition of character 0174 (U 00AE). It looks like this *000AE,40,© 5,2,8,(30,20),1,10,(12,000),2,8,(-17,-7),1,8,(0,14),8,(7,0), 10,(4,-024),8,(-7,0),2,8,(7,0),1,8,(4,-6),6,2,8,(36,0),0 Then decompile the Romans SHX to make a SHP file, and add in the definition. Then compile the file back again (I have called it RomanR), and there you are! (I had to alter the extension from SHX to TXT to get it to load, so you will have to change it back) and again you can get the character with Alt+0174 in Romans font. romanr.txt Quote
