dober Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Hello I need to replace it with an attribute "1A 01-02", the 1 to 3. Search and replace it is unfortunately not. Please help Thanks Hallo Ich muss bei einem Attribut "1A 01-02" die 1 mit 3 ersetzen. Mit suchen und ersetzen geht es leider nicht. Bitte um Hilfe Danke Quote
Lee Mac Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Can't you use a wildcard in your find & replace, like #A 01-02 ? Quote
ReMark Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 You can change 1A to 3A using Find/Replace you just need to be exact. Find what: 1A Replace with: 3A It works for me. Quote

DNK Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Is this in multiple drawings or a single drawing? Quote
ReMark Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Then use a wildcard as suggested by Lee Mac. In AutoCAD 2010 press the arrow key in the lower left-hand corner of the Find and Replace window to see more options. Quote
dober Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Is this in multiple drawings or a single drawing? In mehreren Zeichnungen, in jeder Zeichnung so um die 200 ATT. In several drawings, each drawing as to the 200 ATT. Quote

cad4fun Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 The first 3 lines of Text are ok, isn't it? The fourth line is extraordinairy. I see '1A 01-02', '1A 03-04' and '1A 05-06' changed to '3E 31-32'. Normally it's impossible to do this with the Lisp-routine. Is it possible to send your DWG to helmut51@gmx.at? @tiger: sorry, i can't translate babelfish! :-) Quote

DNK Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 In mehreren Zeichnungen, in jeder Zeichnung so um die 200 ATT.In several drawings, each drawing as to the 200 ATT. I was going to suggest using ATTOUT, open in Excel, make the edits, then ATTIN to update the drawing. This may or may not be efficient, depending upon how many drawings you have to do it to. I've done this to 40 drawings one time, and as tedious as it was, it was quicker than doing the edits in the individual drawings. Something to note, ATTOUT will pull out all attributed block data. I'd suggest that you delete each row in the CSV that you are not editing, because sometimes it can unwittingly replace character counts due to the file being a CSV. What I mean is that I had some numbers that were defined as "0#", but when shown in the CSV, it was only "#". It will also replace any fields that you may have, so be aware of that as well. You can delete each unnecessary row, but do not have to delete the columns associated with that block's tags. Quote
