Jlock126 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 For some reason there is a line that is way off to the bottom of my drawing (outside of my drawing border) that I can neither select or delete. I have isolated it to layer 0, purged, audited, and regened the drawing...it will not go away. I can't figure out how to get rid of it. The layer is not locked. Hmmmm.... I put everthing in the original dwg into a new dwg and the trash line is gone. But this has happened to me once before. It only happens with existing drawings, nothing new. Thanks JLock Quote
Jlock126 Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 Wish I could but it's a work file sharing thing...so I can't. Quote
JD Mather Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Wish I could but it's a work file sharing thing...so I can't. You mean you can't delete everything in that file except the line and post the file? Your company needs to become enlightened to the online world. Much training/learning takes place for free on forums like this, but if you are restricted from participating..... ...well give them a cost estimate to have a consultant come in and do on-site training. Fire_col Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Try select all command, holding shift unselect everything you want to keep and with any luck the line you want to get rid of will still be selected then simply hit delete. Quote
muddbutter Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Did you try what Fire_col suggested? I am interested to see if that worked. Sorry I dont have any suggestions... Quote
nukecad Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I would go Fire_col type in- (not the bits in brackets thats just for info) ERASE SELECT A(ll) R(emove) drag a box around the bits you want to keep ENTER Quote
