Just thinking about a kind of free DWG viewer which allows me to use the dynamic block features

 

Is there any out there?

By definition, a "Viewer" is for viewing, not for changing.

But I guess you want to open a DWG file, modify some dyn blocks and then print? Is that what you are looking for?

yes I'm looking for that kind of program.

 

However, the best program for me is something like a viewer but allows the user to use the visibility list function of dynamic blocks to change the drawing in place.

I haven't tried this, but I would be interested to know what happens if you do...

 

DWG Trueview does not allow you to type at the command line, but it does allow you to paste... So, if you type 'GRIPS' into a text file and copy and paste it into the DWG trueview command line yoou should be able to turn the grips on. In theory this would allow you to change a dynamic block and print it. It wouldn't allow you to save your change though - Still, it's interesting to know about!

the actual command in DWG TruView is GRIPS, and then change the value to 1.
