flyingrizzly
I am trying to figure out how to add a custom color from another application to my gradient panel. I downloaded a Maple Melamine sample in jpg format, when I try to copy and paste into CAD I can only scale it. Is it possible to do this or is there another way to go about it? Cad64
What exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to apply this color to your model? If so, you need to use the Material Editor. Copy and Paste won't do it. Or are you trying to use this color as a gradient hatch? Your question is a little confusing. Can you elaborate a little more on what you're trying to accomplish? flyingrizzly
Sorry about the post being confusing, I was frustrated when I wrote it and didn't think it thru. I use the Maple color alot so I wanted to see if I could incorporate it into my gradient under custom colors for future use. For right now, yes I am attempting to apply the color to a model I am working on. I am going to take a look at the material editor and see if I can figure out how it works. Thanks for the response
flyingrizzly
Okay, I can't find any information on the material editor
Cad64
Sorry, I see you're using 2006. Materials were handled a little differently back before 2007. I don't have 2006 on my machine anymore, so I can't really offer any advice. Either wait for someone else to come along or start Googling and see if you can find some tutorials.
