default printer

How do you set a default printer for plotting in acad09-10. Everytime I want to plot it asks me to choose a printer adn I always use the same one. It is annoying and I do not see anything in properties tab. Any help would be great.

i did that but it still does not show up i have to scroll and pick it. it is really not that big of a deal but i often get dwg files sent to me and i print them. if there are like 20 it gets real annoying

Try going to START, SETTINGS, PRINTERS and FAXES, right click on your printer and set as default.

That might work.

In your plot dialog box at the top left it has "Page setup". Set up the parameters you want to use for your plot and then select the "Add..." button. Name your new page setup something meaningful and select ok. Then whenever you want to plot using those parameters you select the named page setup. Works in publish too.
