I have an issue when printing A2 plots. (Not sure what that is called in imperial).

I have a 22 inch HP, which is the short edge of an A1, and the long edge of an A2.

When printing A2, the HP cannot work out to print it along its long edge, and so uses the equivalent of the entire A1 anyway. It's not the wasted paper, but the time spent trimming it that is most frustrating.

Anyway, HP have an optimized driver for AutoCAD which apparently fixes this issue.

But when I load the driver I can't even print A2s, they just scale up to be an A1 every time.

My question is: does anyone know how to correctly load a print driver to a network? All I could do was copy over the old one.

somebody had a similar problem to this a while back, but unfortunately HP is too short a word to search for here!

Maybe try 'margins' as a keyword?
