qball Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I am migrating over to Autocad 2010 (from 2007) and I can't seem to get the Autolay.lsp to work. There are no error messages, the Script file loads ok, but the actual function does not work. Any thoughts? (ref: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11684) Quote
Lee Mac Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 QBall, I cannot see the code in the link that you posted - and the Autodesk page cannot be found. Are you able to post the code? Quote
asos2000 Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I think that this is the file AutoLay[3.0].zip Quote
qball Posted March 15, 2010 Author Posted March 15, 2010 Yes, asos2000 had the right file. My link just references the original discussion where I first found that lisp. to add some more info: in 2007 when I typed "autolay" it would say "VLR-Manager loaded. Loaded AutoLay[3.0].lsp" type "autolay" again and it says "Unloaded AutoLay[3.0].lsp" in 2010 when I type "autolay" it only says "Unloaded AutoLay[3.0].lsp". I have to use appload to load Autolay, but the lisp still doesn't actually work. VLR-Manager.fas is loaded in 2010. I don't know what else could be missing. Quote
qball Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 back to the top. Does anyone use this lisp? It was so handy. Maybe there's an alternative if I use design center or something? Quote
