civil_graham Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I have my profile styles all set up properly and my label sets for proposed profiles work perfectly with the correct text size of 2mm when working in that drawing. When the drawing is xref'd into a plan and profile drawing the text of the proposed profile shrinks and is unreadable. I am guessing that the viewport is scaling the text of the proposed profile. Exploding the labels fixes the problem, but if the profile is changed the labels have to be re-created so this isn't an optimal solution. Is this a viewport problem? Has anyone else had a similar problem. Station markers of the plan drawing xref'd into the plan viewport also shrink. Quote
sinc Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 The only time I've seen stuff like that is when there's a mismatch in units. For example, you are using metric units, but then in your Page Setup, you have "inches" selected in the "Plot scale" setting. Quote
civil_graham Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 Well that did the trick. Worked perfectly, however I don't understand why a plot scale would change the appearance of labels in a viewport. The labels appear correctly in model space. Thanks for the help, saved a lot of exploding. Quote
