Sparky Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 What I would like to do is create a section cut mark that has attributes with background mask's. I tried creating Mtext with a background mask and then creating an attribute but when the text is made an attribute it no longer has the background mask. Suggestions Quote
Fire Alarm Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 What you can do is create an attribute with multiple lines. This will give you the option to use text mask. Another way is to use a wipeout around the attribute and add a stretch parameter to the wipeout so you can stretch it to the lenght of the text. Awesome reference Brother. Quote
Sparky Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 Opps! I should have titled this background mask and attributes. See I started the attribute with MText and a background mask, but when I define the attribute I lose the background mask. Quote
Fire Alarm Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Try what I posted and let me know if it is what you need. Quote
Sparky Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 Thanks, I'll let you know if this is not what I'm looking for. I was trying to get away from having to create so many wipeouts on the actual drawing. I love the text mask, that's great! Quote
