CAD_Spider Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Hello Where can I buy a cheap (legal) copy of AutoCAD LT 2008? The cheapest I can find is £800!!! . Also, why is the UK version £800, whilst the same software in the USA costs approximately £400?! Quote
Lazer Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Trionics.co.uk are quite good, ask for Barry and he will give you a quote. As for why the USA get it cheaper I have no idea? Quote
CADTutor Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Hello Where can I buy a cheap (legal) copy of AutoCAD LT 2008? The cheapest I can find is £800!!! . £800 is a good price, I doubt you'll find it much cheaper. The RRP for AutoCAD LT 2009 is £1,150 plus VAT Also, why is the UK version £800, whilst the same software in the USA costs approximately £400?! It's the same old story, no one has a convincing answer to this one but they're all at it - Autodesk, Adobe... it's just another case of "rip-off Britain". Quote
CAD_Spider Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 are you still a student? At the moment, no. I may start an advanced CAD course in September, but nothing is for certain. Quote
