Bhavin Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I am using Autocad 2010. I have two drawings in different scales - One in 1:400 and the other in 1:35. How do i paste one drawing into the other. Regards Quote
paul1966 Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 are you looking at the scales in paper space? if so switch to model and the drawing should be at a scale of 1:1, i say should because its not unknown for a drawing to be scaled in model space (bad practice). Quote
ReMark Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 First determine if the drawings are done to full size or "to scale" in model space. If they are both done to full scale then scale, per se, won't be a problem. However if they are both done "to scale" (i.e. - drawn as they would have been done on a drafting board to fit a particular size of paper) then, depending on which drawing you are pasting into you'll have to either scale the drawing up or scale it down to fit. In that case it is just a matter of doing the math. Quote
