Is there a function for drawing a closed traverse? I have the adjusted bearing and distance from our six point closed traverse survey but I have no idea how to find a starting point on the drawing. I believe my query is vague but this is all the info I have. The TA is out for the week and nobody in the class has a clue that I know. I'm using Autocad 07, 09, and 10. I save all work as 2007.dwg

Thanks,

Mark

Unless you are using Land Developement Desktop or Civil 3D then you have to use the normal commands for drawing a close traverse.

Example: @215

You say you have the bearings/distances. Unless you have coordinates for the Point of Beginning, just start at 0,0 and enter them as such...

Command: LINE

Specify first point: 0,0

Specify next point or [undo]: @123.45

Specify next point or [undo]: @135.45

Thank you very much, I did as you suggested and it worked out fine.
