Marktuc Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Is there a function for drawing a closed traverse? I have the adjusted bearing and distance from our six point closed traverse survey but I have no idea how to find a starting point on the drawing. I believe my query is vague but this is all the info I have. The TA is out for the week and nobody in the class has a clue that I know. I'm using Autocad 07, 09, and 10. I save all work as 2007.dwg Thanks, Mark Quote
ScribbleJ Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Unless you are using Land Developement Desktop or Civil 3D then you have to use the normal commands for drawing a close traverse. Example: @215 Quote
lpseifert Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 You say you have the bearings/distances. Unless you have coordinates for the Point of Beginning, just start at 0,0 and enter them as such... Command: LINE Specify first point: 0,0 Specify next point or [undo]: @123.45 Specify next point or [undo]: @135.45 Quote
Marktuc Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 Thank you very much, I did as you suggested and it worked out fine. Quote
