dlxowhd Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 you know, those gradients you use for windows and stuff, how do you make them semi-transparent so you can see what's behind the window? do you know what i mean? i'm not talking about the hatch... just gradient. Quote
Cad64 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 What gradient are you talking about, if you're not talking about hatch? In 2011, transparency is possible, but not in 2009. Quote
dlxowhd Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 i'm using autocad 2008. when you go to hatch, there is another tab that says gradient... and you can use that on stuff like windows to make it look like real windows. however i make it semi-transparent so i can show what's behind that windows (kind of). so there is no way to do it on autocad 2008? Yes, that's a gradient hatch, but you said "i'm not talking about the hatch... just gradient", so I thought maybe you were talking about something else. There is no way, that I am aware of, to do transparency in 2008. Transparency is something new to 2011. Quote
