Hi

I hope someone has 5 minutes to help.

I am creating a set of sliding doors in dynamic blocks, I have figured out with some looking on the net how to make a 2 panel set of sliding doors in a dynamic block (aerial view) and how to keep the central point central in offset panels while the doors are stretched.

I need now to create a set of 3 panel, 4 panel sliding doors and a set of 4 panel centrally opening sliding doors.

Does anyone know where I can find help with this, a tutorial or a paper on the web?

Many thanks

The dynamic block white papers from Autodesk are a good start. What is it that you want the dynamic blocks to do? If you want to stretch an object equally in both directions, set your starting point to "mid point" and then add two stretch actions set to the same base point, but make sure that the action going the opposite directions is set to 180 degrees for angle offset.

I suppose you could have multiple stretch parameters, probably stretching out from each place where the doors overlap.

Many thanks its very close.

I have attached what I have done with a pair of doors (Offset pair) the black lines at each end are just where it locks into internal and external walls on plans.

I think from yours I maybe able to look up the propertys and use them to do what I need with my block.

Many thanks again for your help
