Rotating an xref 90^ in z direction

Hi,

I'm not even sure if that's the way to word what I need to do.

I have a 3d model that I created in Acad Architecture. I received a 3d file from anther company that has equipment drawn in it. I need to reference this equipment into my model.

 

The problem is that my "top" view shows the top of my building, where their "top" view shows the side of the building. So when I reference it in the two files are orientated differently.

 

I know that the equipment was created in Inventor, I'm not sure if that matters.

 

any advice?
