I added two of their zip files just a bit ago. Keep out of the volcano smoke. I believe the summer of 1738 was called the year without a summer. Seems the same volcano kep the skies dark enough to block out the sun. Quote

Seems the same volcano kep the skies dark enough to block out the sun. yeah the second websitsite is good, but I find the search facility quite obscure and does not seem to pinpoint what you enter into the search, thanks very much for the help, yes it is very dark outside with all that ash in the air!!:wink: Quote
Tankman Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Take care. A respirator might be in order. 1738, the same volcano erupted, I believe Ben Franklin in Paris, called 1738 the year without a summer. Apparently, the sky was so dark, little sun shown through the heavy ash content in the skies. Quote
