after dimensioning little icons appear?

Hey everyone,

When I use the dimensioning feature there is a little icon showing up near it. What the heck is that and will it plot?

Sounds like you are doing parametric dimensions. Can you post a screen capture?

I was using the wrong dim ribbon.

 

I did try and they don't plot.
