corinne
Sometimes, as I'm progressing in the creation of a drawing I'll find that I've acquired small objects in the 'nanosphere' of my screen - objects that I don't need and which, because they exist, make my real drawing appear very small when zoomed to extents. Sometimes I can't even click on these objects or can't see them, yet I think they must still be 'out there' because I'm still zoomed out so much. How do I fix this? How can I make it so that my drawing takes up most of my screen when I'm zoomed to extents. Thanks!
Strix
are you drawing with xrefs? these can cause those problems you could set limits to your drawings and use zoom limits instead of zoom extents, or use zoom previous
lpseifert
Erase > All > Remove > window everything you want to keep BTW... pretty name (same as my daughter's) also... if the objects you can't 'see' are pieces of null text (text with no characters i.e. spaces) you can turn on Qtext and you'll be able to see/select them. rookie37
I have similar problems sometimes I overcome it by; erase; all; remove (then I window what I want to keep) ;; This solves the problem some of the time I not the i type limits I define the corners of my work area ;
Tankman
Rookie: I stick with plumbing drawings, not too awfully difficult but, I sure fooled 'em too! Stress neat, clean, and use erase often.
Strix
cancelling a copy command half way through used to result in the selected item being 'thrown' out into space in your drawing - check this isn't the source of the problem too
