berol Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Using Autcad 2000 LT and have individually created a number of rectangles which I have hatched solid all on one layer. Now when I go to move one rectangle or delete it, all the rectangles either want to move or be deleted, How do I separate one rectangle from the others in order to move or delete it. Thanks! Quote
Tiger Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I am guessing your Hatch is all one Hatch, i.e. you did it all in one go? I just tried it, and when you create the Hatch there is a tickbox at the bottom right which says Create Separate Hatches, tick that. That tickbox is also there if you Edit Hatch (double click on the hatch) but is now called Separate Hatches. Quote
alanjt Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Sounds like you created the hatch as one object instead of multiple. Thankfully it's an easy fix. Double-click on your hatch or type HatchEdit and select the hatch then check the Create Separate Hatches option. Quote
Tiger Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Beat me by a hair Tiger. but you took the time to get a screenshot  why can't we have seconds in the timestamp as well? Quote

Thanks again ahum... not an option in 2000 and/or LT then, too bad. If you can't explode the hatch, that I think your out of luck and have to do them all over again, and do the hatches one at a time.
