gargoyle27 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 i have a few parts which have several (some as many as 16) tapped holes circularly arrayed around them, is there a better/faster way than just adding the threads individually? Quote
shift1313 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Are you actually cutting threads or are you using threads in the hole wizard? You can create your hole with threads(in hole wizard) then do an array of that. bada bing bada boom Quote
the ber Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 the tool is called "circular pattern", you can probably use ctl-shft-o. then a box pops up, which is pretty self-explanatory. sometimes it's easier to select the feature to be arrayed by clicking in the model browser instead of the part itself. kencaz Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I like to use center points for holes. You can array the points in your sketch then when you select the hole feature it will select all center points automatically. KC Quote
