How to adjust the distance between text and arrow

I have query on, how can I adjust the distance between the text and the arrow on the View Annotation Style "Detail". Please, see image below.

Ive never done this but at the bottom of your screen in the Terminator box it would seem that is the dimension you are working with.

Thanks for the reply but, that doesn't change the distance of the arrow to the text. That option is meant for the arrow size.

I figured the extension line length(grey) would have done it.

 

Does it not adjust to the text you put in?

 

Ill have to open it up and play around with it to see.

It does adjust when I changes the text height. But, still I feel that the distance of the arrow to the text is quite far; I have attached an example of the detail view. As you see the distance of the arrow to the text is not appropriate. I also noticethat, when you try to detail a small drawing you won't be able to see the arrow head.
