GE13579 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Try exploding the block. Type explode in the command line...select the block and select enter. Now try using osnap. Now it's not just one entity, every line is a single entity. I'm not quite sure that's the result the OP was looking for..? Quote
LAD152 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 was i talking to you ge? I was trying to answer the osnap question to my best judgement. thank you Quote
Polly Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 Guys, Forget about it. I just want to know why that happened. Thanks everyone for helping me. I don't want you guys wasting your time to solve the unsolvable problem. I'll blame it on AutoCAD, how's that sound? Thanks again. Quote
GE13579 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 was i talking to you ge? I was trying to answer the osnap question to my best judgement. thank you Perhaps you took my post out of context- exploding is fine as a workaround, but often the reason a block is a block is due to a requirement. Apologies if my post came across more severe than was intended. Quote
da man Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 go to Properties and and make sure that the Scale Z is the same as the X and Y axes. Quote
blatz.boy Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Go to your options dialogue box and look under "Optimize for Speed." Make sure that the Object Snap is not checked, and try snapping to your block again. Hope this works for you. Quote
Polly Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 Blatz Boy, I go to Tool and choose options, but I didn't see Optimize for Speed. I don't know I go to the right options or not. Quote
