Hello,

I cannot open AutoCAD. I am using 2002 which was installed on this laptop by someone else who is no longer contactable.

I click to open AutoCAD, the programme opens but before i get chance to do anything i get the following message

FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 766cfbaeh.

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium.

I have been using cad for many years but have no idea what this error message could mean.

I really hope someone can help.

Thank you in advance.

It's anybody's guess.

Mine would be it is a .NET Framework error.

Previous to this had you been able to open and use AutoCAD 2002 on this laptop?

Thanks for the link, i have tried instaling it but it says it cant find the network location. i dont understand why it says this, surely i should be able to save it to anywhere on the pc without being connected the network location.

i think i will have to go into the office to log onto the network.

AutoCAD 2002 did work on this laptop, but i left the company and someone else used the laptop in my place, now im using it again im not sure what happened in my ebsence.

If you were able to open AutoCAD the information regarding the service pack would be found under Help > About. On the window that would appear one would click on the Product Information button. The next screen would have all pertient info.

You are not experiencing problems with any other programs on the laptop right?

Do you have the original installation CD for the program?

No, as it was someone else who loaded it onto the laptop and he no longer works for the company.

You're stuck until you can return to work it seems.

You could try the REPAIR option but if it isn't in the Add/Remove section of the Windows Control panel then it would be on the installation disk that you no longer have.

If it is a .NET Framework problem you need access to the Internet to find the directions and download the proper software.

If the problem goes unresolved then I think you are looking at buying some new software. In that case check the minimum system requirements. Your present laptop may not be suitable.
