Ste1978 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I'm using 2010. Basically, I need to export various graphics from Inventor which I can then import to another program in the following formats:- dxf wmf Tif Gif Pcx Jpeg I want the graphics to look as clear as possible and they need to be colour/solids. What is the best way to do this? I tried exporting to a jpeg but the quality was terrible. Quote

Ste1978 Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 Or use Jing, or camtasia (or a.n.other) to take a screen shot... Screen shots are one thing but once you try to zoom in/manipulate the image, you lose quality. I was wondering of there is a way to export a bmp for example which gives the same quality as if I have printed to a PDF driver? Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 The image files will allways be saved at the current screen resoloution. Here is a work around (if you ar happy to dabble in a little coding!): http://modthemachine.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/02/saving-image-files.html Otherwise I think that you will nedd to render the view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SY0ah_eXz8 Or print to PDF and convert that to an image file...
