i am only a student and interesteed in llearning Autocad inventor, could any1 help me with a resourceful website where i can download the software.

if you have a .edu email address you can sign up for the autodesk student community and recieve 13month license of just about any of their software packages.

 

As far as references go, I would start with the built in tutorials from the Help menu.

Any students anywhere in the world can join http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity and download the software for free. There is also a complete curriculum on the site. All free.

Thanks for the info JDM. I wasn't sure that students outside of the U.S. could use the same link. I know that non-students seeking trial versions of AutoDesk products who are from outside the U.S. cannot download software from the U.S.

The process is easiest if the student has an edu email. If not there is a link on the site that requires a bit more information and validation. Teachers/professors can also obtain a direct link to invite students who do not have edu email.

Maybe we should include the information in the AutoCAD forum re: Student Software that it is available worldwide? I don't think it specifically states it. Just a suggestion.
