ectech Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Hi all, Is it possible to write a lisp to make a mark (like barcode) on drawing and then protect this drawing to avoid somebody to update it again. Finally I can print this drawing to paper. Because I want to use this as a cross reference with the both soft and hard copeis it the same. Thanks ! Quote

Freerefill Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Ok, just brainstorming here... What about a reactor that looks for a specific block or item in a drawing and, if it exists, it draws a certain other object somewhere? I know that statement is somewhat convoluted, but consider the logic: in order to break that, one would need the reactor, the object it searches for and the LISP file that's run when the reactor... uh.. reacts. They'd have the object if they had the file, but they would never be able to get the reactor or the LISP, so they'd never be able to re-create it. I'm not sure if that would help, but it's something to think about, I suppose. Quote
