Hi all

 

Does anyone know if one excel spreadsheet can be linked up to two different part files in order to make both parts parametric to one another.

that should work just fine. Also you can create the parameters inside Inventor before you create your part and name them intelligent things like Diameter1, length5 and so on, then export this to list to excel so you can import it into another part file as a parameter list. I cant recall how the file locations will work out but its a good idea for you to include the file in each project folder.
