p0nyface Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Hey everyone, ive had a similar problem with autoCAD 2008 where my drawing comes out of the printer missing lines or bits of lines which are visible in the viewport before printing. ive attached a screen shot of the drawing and a scanned copy of what i get after printing, as you can see part of one of the lines is missing from the drawing. I'm using AutoCAD 2010 Quote
ReMark Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Perhaps it is a driver related problem. Could you tell us what your plot settings are? Quote
p0nyface Posted May 24, 2010 Author Posted May 24, 2010 shade plot: as displayed Quality: Maximum Dpi: 600 when i go to plot preview it shows the lines in full also, but then, like before, when i print they dissappear. Quote
bradwitt17 Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I am having the same problem where it will just cut off text in the middle of it as well as just certain lines. I have made sure that they are not on a "No Plot" layer and I am making a PLT file same thing seems to happen when I make a PDF. The funny thing is that it doesnt happen all the time so its really hard to pin point the problem. Attached is what I am talking about for the text. Quote
ReMark Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 It could be a driver issue, a problem with your COM port or a cabling problem between the printer and your computer. Quote
p0nyface Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 i dont think it is a driver related problem, i get the same result printing to different printers and printing from different computers using different versions of autoCAD Quote
nestly Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Perhaps a wipeout or solid hatch and draw order. Maybe try the TEXTTOFRONT command. Can you post the drawing? As for the original problem, see this similar thread, specifically post #31 by Cad64 http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?54629-Not-appear-some-of-my-drawings-such-as-lines-and-curves-...!!!&p=370452&viewfull=1#post370452 Quote
