dp7777 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 First post... Beginner. Could someone tell me how to realign the viewCube so it is set to my current view. I've created a 3d object but it is at an angle to XYZ. I'm sure its something to do with UCS but i cant figure it out. If you look at the attached image you will see the top is correct for the object but i need to realign and straighten up the angle of the xy planes (i think) I'm using Autocad 2010. Many thanks DP Quote
dp7777 Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Is there more information i can provide to help you help me? thanks DP Quote
SPARKY77 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I don't know if this is what you are after but under the view cube it says unnamed , if you mclick on this and change it to wcs it will change to the world usc Quote
SPARKY77 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I don't thick what I sayed before is what you are after but I thick I may have a way around it (If you copy the object with the ucs at the centre as it is and paste it into another drawing at 0,0,0 this should align with the world usc), other wise I think you will have to rotate it back to the orientaion you are after Quote
dp7777 Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 I think that may just be what im looking for. I'm hitting a copy and paste bug in 2007 at the moment but ill try later in 2010 and let you know. Fingers crossed! DP Quote
