gsksun4 Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Hi I have an autocad drawing with dimensions 50 x 30 and I need to change the dimensions to 50 x 62 is there anyone that can help me Sorry, I gave wrong info. I know how to edit the text in the dimension, but if you changed it and your drawing is drawn 1:1, the drawing would be wrong. This is a response to the OP above. Quote
CJJ Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Are you referring to the size of the entity in the drawing or are you referring to the size of the paper on which the drawing is being plotted? Or is this about something else entirely? You can use SCALE command to change the size of the lines inside the drawing. Make sure you read all of the options if you're not trying to maintain the X:Y ratio of the entities you're trying to change. If you're trying to plot to larger paper, then that will be settings inside the plot dialog box. Quote
Tankman Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Not too much to go on, I too, like CJJ was going to suggest SCALE. If not a lot goin' on, why not just add on? gsksun4-D01.dwg Quote

ReMark Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 I guess designtech doesn't want to waste his time explaining what his true needs are but he doesn't mind wasting ours. Designtech: In the future PLEASE include as much information as possible so we do NOT have to play 20 questions nor guess at what you REALLY want to do. Thank you. And have a sparkling day. Quote
