SadisticIron Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I have this truck club logo and when I cut it out it is very thin. How do I thicken the lines so it has a wider cut? I have posted a drawing of the image I am working with. All the help is much appreciated everyone. Thank you SeveredTies2.dxf Quote
rkent Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 pedit, Multiple, select all, specify a value for conversion (see command line, don't go over 22), Width, 0.01 ( or whatever you want) Quote
SadisticIron Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 I tried this and I see no results from it. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Quote

Dana W Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Type the command lweight, and then check off 'Display Lineweights' in the lineweight settings dialog box. Also, adjust the ratio of how thick the visualization of lineweights will be displayed. Or alternately, right click your status bar at the bottom, and click on Status Toggles. Check off 'Lineweight' and any others that you think might help you. by clicking the lwt toggle, you can toggle on and off whether your AutoCAD workspace shows lineweights in model and paperspace at the same time. If it is toggled off, you won't see a thickness change in either space even if the line is 20 feet wide. Line weights are displayed differently in model and paper space. In model, the thickness does not change while zooming. In paperspace, the line thicknesses scale in and out with the zoom ratio. Quote
